The Housing Locator Training Series is
designed to support the housing locator staff in understanding best
practices, processes, and other details related to supporting Class Member
transitions into their new units. The 4 trainings are "Intro to Housing Locator Role", "Searching for Housing", "Leasing and Property Management", and "Movie-In, Welcome and Orientation". Attendees will learn about the following;
- The importance
and specifics of the housing locator roles,
- Hear best
practices in searching for housing and making landlord relationships
- Working with
leasing and property management staff
- Details on the
moving process for Class Members.
The four-part training series is targeted to housing locator staff, Primes who need to learn the process, as well as housing locator staff who may need a refresher. You will find the 4 separate video links in the "Handouts" section of the course. Please watch each of the 4 trainings in their entirety. You will complete an attestation after you've watched the 4 trainings in the "test" section of the training.
